Collard Greens (not gross, try them) April 5, 2011

I saw a lady on tv make these and I HAD to try them. I have adapted her recipie to items we have here, though.

2 bunches of collard greens

1 ham hock

1/2 pound ham, cubed

2 cans chicken broth

pepper DONT USE SALT!!

2 gloves fresh garlic, chopped

Trim the stems off the greens and wash. Put all onto a deep pot and cover, cooking on Medium for 45 minutes. Remove ham hock and serve.
